#2  Background checks and universal credit  Posted 21/01/2019 at 22:02
I will be undergoing reference checks returning to my airline after the summer season and I had a period of claiming universal credit between leaving and rejoining.

The job centre will not provide a letter of evidence of my claim dates. How can my airline verify I was there (other than a gap reference) when I have stated 'unemployed - claiming benefits'.

Thanks
