#1 AD 26th Jan Luton - What to expect? Posted 19/01/2012 at 19:03 |

Hi All!
I have my AD next Thursday at Luton is anyone else going on this date?
If so are you planning on staying the night before?
If you have been to ana AD for EasyJet before can give details of what I should expect?
Im so nervous!!

Hey,
I will be there..also dead nervous!!
I will be driving up to Luton in the morning, as I don't really have enough money to stay the night before; what with dinner, breakfast and the room. I live about 90 minutes away so it is not too bad but not ideal.
Have never been to an AD before, so will be an experience if nothing else!! |

Hey! Also attending the AD then, and I'm thinking of getting a room at the Premier Inn, or something, cause it's a pretty early start and I'm like 2 hours away!
Anyone else incredibly nervous? |

Hi Ppl.
Dont be nervous.........easier said then done I know!! The best advice I can give you is be yourself & MINGLE with different ppl on the AD.
It is a long and tiring day if you get through right till the end to interviews!!
I am just waiting to hear if I have a job with them now!! :D

Hey guys im going on the 26th too!
Im quite nervous too, I went to one of their open days when i was 19 but i think its totally different to an assessment day.
I live like 2 1/2 hours away but trying to stay over the night before if i can afford it :S
What bases is everyone going for? |

hey guys - hope this is helpful for you all.. i had my A/D in April last year..
You all start off in the canteen at the assessment centre and then they call you in, give you a brief and ask a few group questions e.g. when did easyjet start etc, you just put your hand up to answer.
Then you do the maths and english test - then after this you have a break whilst the tests are marked..
Then you're all called back into the room and names are called out and taken into a different room - in my case these were the people that got sent home...
Those of us that were still remaining were then split into groups of 4 to do the group activity, one of the assessors comes and sits at the table with you whilst you all do the activity - they're not bothered about you finding the correct answer to the activity,
they just want to see how you work as a team etc- keep an eye on the time remaining and make sure you tell the group how long you've got left - they like people that are time aware! and try not to take control too much as they're looking for cabin crew team
members not managers!
After this we had another break and names were called out again - these people didnt make it through..
After this the remaining people have an 2 to 1 interview, they ask you questions about why you want to be cabin crew, the routes you know easyjet do, your greatest achievement etc..
It's really not as bad as you think it will be - i was so nervous but there really wasn't any need to be!

| On my AD in October last year they had no maths or english test just a verbal reasoning test the same one you did before your AD and you have 3 group tasks in the morning then the people who did not cut it will get sent home after lunch. |

Hey,
Went to this AD- it really is quite an enjoyable day! (Never thought I would say that!!),
Relax, Be Confident and Smile!!
Pleased to say I got through the day and had an Email today to say I had been successful! |
