Hi guys. Got a really bad call yesterday about an issue with planes.. Anyone get the same call? Wondering if anyone is in the same boat

Hi, yes some of my friends also had a call. I think the delay with the delivery of the a321NEO’s has caused this issue. Hope you get sorted.

Ah i thought it was over the Boeing max planes! I was so shocked over the call that it was a blur. Thanks so much for the info!

Hi I also got the call to say that I had an option to join the cork training or be placed on a panel for 6 months?

Hi guys what’s happening to the planes does that mean they won’t recruit this year at all ? It sounds like it’s s lot of people left in holding pool .

Im on a 6 month panel, but if i dont get a call within the 6 months.. ive to re apply... its crazy.

Tell me about it! I highly doubt the issue will be fixed within the next 6 months. Ive to put my life on hold again for this job! ????

No update. I was recently on an aer lingus flight and got talking to crew, they said it was no shock to them and i was like well it was a shock to me?!

I highly doubt they will recruit this year. Very poor on their behalf. I handed in my notice into my job and they wouldnt give me my position back, so i basically lost my job due to this whole aer lingus mess. Ive given up on the aer lingus dream now unfortunately. Best of luck, hope you get a call!
