Hi, i'm really interested in becoming an cabin crew member but i am only 157cm tall.
I understand airlines have a requirement of 158cm and over for women.
Is this a strict requirement?
Although i'm shorter than ideal, i can reach 212cm on tiptoes with both hands.

Just wondered if it is possible i can become a cabin crew member and if the height limit is a strict requirement?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Chloe,

Try with Ryanair, you'll be fine

Check the requirements of the airline you want to apply for - if it states there is a reach test of 210 or 212cm then of course you will be fine. Most airlines use this test to see if you can reach the emergency equipment on the aircraft which is essential. If they ask just for the height requirement, then you may not get through the basic screening of your application.
