Rapid is so long winded. Ticking all them pax then un ticking them for other segments ha ha. I am used to travel cat when it used to download every pax for me.

I think travel cat is so much more in advanced as well. (More for the future)  

I miss emails on it as I used to treat it like msn ha ha.

I miss the 8 5 and 1 Where travel cat worked out all your profit for you. (It was always correct by the way not like rapid £0.00)  

 

 I like the way it used to say who enter the booking at what times of the day and travel cat would tell you what amendments have been done on the booking through the day.

 

 Even if someone entered it from another shop it would come up with their Payroll num and what time they entered it.

 

 Travel cat is so safe. Even down to discounts it all went through head office (The commercial team.) However on rapid you can give discount to anyone.  Also customers used to be able to pay online with travel cat (www.firstchoice.co.uk) but now it has gone back to olden days where they have to ring up the agent or come into the branch to pay off their holiday. I also miss when we used to do a booking with island cruise’s or first choice and the booking used to be waiting for you to download it into travel cat, I really miss travel cat (I was the king on it). Now we are on rapid you have to add all your flights into the segment then you have to add all your return flights then you have to add the hotel etc it just takes ages and when its January it’s not good.

 

 I hate rapid's view data as well. I loved the way we were allowed to print out on travel cat however on rapid you’re not allowed to print anything out.  Also I keep pressing F10 instead of pressing close section when I am searching.

 

However when rapid crashes on the downloading stage of the booking, I have a fit as I lose the booking ref number as we can’t print out. I do save me slides but when Rapid crashes I lose them all my saved slides to

 

Travel cat dairy is miles better than rapid’s. As you can leave dairy notes for other members of staff and it’s more professional.

 

But other than that rapid is just ok. Only good thing I like about rapid is customers amendments as you can just over type or simply add a new segment.

 

I also like group bookings on rapid as you can have them all on one screen with two segments. On travel cat if there was two Booking ref you had to have two travel cats screens haha and the other half of the party would be on the other travel cat ref confusing.com.

Its the thomson website. haha. well  I thought I was on the thomson website at first. Until someone said to me this is powersearch lol. I was like your lieing an they where like honest.  

 

You book all first choice and thomson holidays on it. However you can see all the hotels like online.  Its the spit of thomson.co.uk. its the spit of it. trust me.  

 

It look's good. But again we shall see hahaha.
